Sannja holds the detonator out in front of him. It seems like the air vanished as no one seemed to breathe. Unmoving and tense, nobody dares to make any sudden movements.

  Krilts-”Sannja what exactly do you think you’re doing?” He keeps his voice low and calm, not trying to give him any reason to press the button.

  Sannja-”Thinking about just ending it all right here, that way nobody wins. Unless you hurry up and put an end to this like you said you would.”

  That’s all the motivation Krilt needed as he continued his fight with Goten.

  Trunks-(Damn) He just stares daggers at Sannja stuck with indecision. (I could obviously get to him before he presses the button, but the question is will I be fast enough before he does?) So he stands there staring.

  Sannja-”Here comes the space craft.” He starts waving the detonator around like an airpne after he catches Trunks staring. “Am I allowed to walk back to my ship or do I have to, y’know?” He takes one step, then two, then a third.

  Trunks waits for him to get closer before he makes his move. Before him however is Reddoc and Codder going for a surprise attack. Codder gets up close trying with no avail to jab him somewhere. Trunks however is distracted by Sannja getting closer to the ship he has to use his arms to block the quills Reddoc threw. He gives them his full attention with the intention of ending this quickly.

  Krilit swings with everythings he’s got but Goten just stands and evades, he throws some punches when he can. Krilt keeps the pressure on not letting up, when he finally sees an opening to his temple he gears up everything he has and swings.

  Goten-”Nice try.” Goten parries his punch, Krilts arm flying in the opposite direction leaving his body wide open. In that instant Goten takes a pose, his left hand shoots upward and he levels it directly over his heart. While his right hand is clenched at his side carrying the weight of his emotions at the moment. Then he shoots his arm out and connects with the armor bsting the backside of it into pieces.

  Krilt-”Arghhhhhh!” He shouts in pain with a mix of rage. Then he grasps Gotens outstretched arm and sms his helmet right into Gotens face. The quills rip and scratch at his skin, little droplets of blood soars across the air. Krilt goes for another headbutt instead he’s met with an elbow that catches him on the side of his head and sends him reeling to the side.

  Goten follows up with a straight punch directly to his face and shatters the helmet, leaving his entire head exposed. Goten sets up for another punch. Krilt uses both arms to cover his head only to get gut checked and lifted off his feet. The rest of his armor crumbles from his body and he drops to his knees, head hung low.

  Sannja, seeing the fights taking pce, decided to not stick around any longer than he needed to. He didn’t get all the Ooonja on the ship but he still motions for the pilot to take off. Engines roar to life, the sound of thrusters fill the whole cave. The doors are still open with Sannja standing at the edge while the ship lifts off the ground.

  Trunks rips the helmet off Codder and smashes his face with it, he turns around and does the same with Reddoc. Then he stares up at Sannja in the doorway of the ship.

  Sannja-”As long as you don’t follow me everything should be fine.” He retracts the detonator out of sight and hides it behind his mass of hair. Trunks once again struck with indecision.

  Krilt on his knees battered and exhausted and ultimately defeated.

  Krilt-”What is your name?”

  Goten-”It’s Goten.”

  Krilt-”Goten. You’re strong, really strong, you have the power to do a lot of good in this universe. It probably doesn’t mean much coming from me, but please” Tears start pouring from his eyes while he can barely keep his voice from breaking completely. “Don’t become a false savior like I was someone who thought he was doing good only to make things worse. I gave nothing to the universe and that's not fair, because it deserves a Hero.” He looks up with the tears still free falling from his sockets and he stares Goten in the eyes. “I believe you guys are the Heros the universe needs.”

  Reddoc and Codder regain consciousness and see the ship in the air heading for the exit.

  Reddoc-”Hey where do you think you’re going?”

  Codder-”I know you Ooonja can’t see very well but we're still down here.” Their words fall on deaf ears as the ship just keeps getting higher and higher.

  Krilt-”Goten there is a side tunnel that leads to the basement of the GP base. There are kids at the base, you have to help them get off this pnet.”

  Trunks-(What should I do? What should I do?)” Trunks is still frozen while Codder and Reddoc continue to shout at the departing ship. Then he hears a barely audible beep come from the heavy machinery and the number 15 starts showing up around it. (The bombs have been activated!) He looks at Sannja with wide eyes.

  Ooonja can’t smile, but Trunks feels like he’s giving him a shit eating grin. The ship then turns around and flies out of the cave while the bombs start counting down.

  Krilt-”Hey Goten, take the tunnel to the base and get everybody out,”

  Krilt-”Trunks I believe, you gotta get the rest of the Ooonja out of here.”

  Krilt-”Get outta here NOW!” That seems to wake them up and move into action. Goten turns Super Saiyan and shoots off down the tunnel towards the base. Trunks also turns Super Saiyan and rounds up the rest of the Ooonja. He takes one in both arms while one clings to his back and two smaller ones clings to his front. He takes off out of the cave.

  Trunks sees Jaco and motions for him to open the doors.

  Trunks-”Get the Ooonja far from here.” He dumps them in the ship and takes off towards Sannja and the other Ooonja.

  Goten races down the tunnel until he reaches a set of big metal doors. He knocks once.

  Goten-”Hey can anybody hear me?” He doesn't wait long for an answer however as he bsts open the doors and rushes inside. He checks every inch of the pce from the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, gym, training area, and the front lobby but he doesn’t find a soul until he’s outside in front of the building.

  Purple Girl-”Whoa watch where your go-”

  Goten-”Where is everybody!” He shouts cutting her off.

  Purple Girl-”They’re on the roof what’s-” She doesn’t finish as he flies off towards the roof before it’s too te.

  Krilt sits there reminiscing about his life up to that point, contempting all the choices he’s made, some were good, most were bad but he always tried his best. He knows he’s not crossing over with a clear conscience, too much guilt and regret weighing him down.

  While Codder and Reddoc cry into each other's arms, Krilt is hit with an emotion he hasn’t felt in a long time. Hope for the universe. The boys restored his hope and in a way that's more than what he can ever ask for. He smiles a genuine smile in his final moments.

  The bomb doesn’t exaggerate and burns everything in the vicinity to a crisp almost instantly, the explosion itself causes the cave to colpse in on itself burying everything underground. There is so much to the explosion and it doesn’t like being contained so it travels down the tunnel, fast and getting faster. It needs to find somepce to release itself and it does, it finds an opening. It burns everything it comes into contact with and immediately the explosion happens and engulfs the entire building, leaving nothing afterwards.

  Goten races to the roof trying to get everybody to safety. Before he can get too close an explosion happens directly in front of his face, it burns and even bsts him back to the ground. He looks up in horror as the building is charred and crumbles to the ground. His ears are ringing, his mind is racing and his voice is caught in his throat. He doesn’t even know what to do about the screaming girl behind him. The realization comes all too quick for him.

  Goten-”I failed.”
