  So, Chapter 388 wraps up Volume 1 of Ex-Human Morphus. I’ve been working on this book for about a year and a half, and now Volume 1 is finally finished. I planned from the very beginning to conclude Volume 1 with Jake putting an end to Los Demonios and eliminating its leader. But while Volume 1 is now complete, Jake’s journey is far from over. He still has much to accomplish, so his story is not yet finished. However, after working on this story for so long, I’ve decided to take a break from it and start working on something different.

  The new book I’m currently working on is called Cryptborn. It’s a revenge-themed LitRPG, and it shares many similarities with Ex-Human Morphus, like a similar system, evolution stages, developing an army of monsters, and so on. There’s one significant difference, though. While Jake could be considered an antihero, the main character of Cryptborn is a villain, pure evil and utterly ruthless.

  I’m pretty excited about how this story is shaping up so far. The protagonist will be on a relentless journey to get even with those who wronged him, and the plot will be filled with intense fights, steady progression, and a drive toward world domination.

  Cryptborn likely won’t be as long as Volume 1 of Ex-Human Morphus, because it’s set to be a tighter and more focused story. Nate, the protagonist of Cryptborn, has a clear goal, and from the very beginning we know exactly where his story will end. Once his quest for revenge is fulfilled, it will conclude.

  So far, I’ve released 10 chapters (around 30,000 words), and things are really starting to get interesting, and the plot is rapidly gaining momentum! So if you haven’t joined Nate’s dark journey yet, now could be the perfect time to dive in! If you enjoyed Ex-Human Morphus, I think you’ll find Cryptborn equally addictive.
