I continue to level up by going around hunting monsters for another day before I finally reach the level I’m aiming for after killing a rather large dolphin. A little above it in fact.

I feel a grin spreading across my face at the sight of my incredibly high REGEN stat.
It’s so high now that I can regenerate in just a hundred minutes what most people would take a month to regenerate. So it’s getting high enough that it’s going to be very useful in battle soon enough.
I can just imagine regenerating major wounds in the middle of a battle without even having to use a healing skill.
With that in mind, I go ahead and open my skills list. Only for my grin to grow even wider at the sight of my new skill.

A Domain skill! Finally!
Although I won’t be able to use the Domain aspect of the skill for a while…
Still. A Domain is a Domain.
I’ll be able to use it eventually.
On another note though, this skill goes into further depth about the Abyssal Kraken.
After all, if the Abyss itself really is made from this skill… what does that say about the Abyssal Kraken’s Magical Strength that the Domain is larger than multiple galaxies?
It’s terrifying.
But what’s even more terrifying is the fact that the Domain is always up. All the time.
And it has been up for tens of thousands of years without ever being canceled.
Meaning the Abyssal Kraken doesn’t need any breaks to keep it sustained.
All while keeping all those abyssal servants it has running around the Abyss summoned.
I frown as a thought comes to mind.
Maybe it’s because it’s draining mana from the Ancient Monsters? Is that why it’s using them as batteries?
But why does it need a Domain of that size always open?
Regardless, this skill likely does at least confirm that the Abyss is a Domain.
Just the name of the skill alone is enough.
I feel a slight shiver run down my spine as I think about it. But then I decided to change my focus onto using the skill.
Only to find it not actually doing anything.
Oh, right. I forgot.
The skill only lets me manipulate water at the pressure of the Abyss.
With that in mind, I activate Pressure of the Abyss to turn the water around me into abyssal water. Then I use Abyss to manipulate it with ease.
First I create little shapes in the water, following which I turn the abyssal water into weapons made of water. Like spears, swords, and the like.
Hmm…
I try to move the weapons at fast speeds, but it takes a surprising amount of focus to make the weapons move with any real speed. Or at least, any speed that’ll be beneficial in battle.
Maybe I need to increase my Magical Strength stat more to be faster?
It could also just be an experience thing. That I need more experience using the skill before it can be practical for battle.
At least, in the sense of making water weapons.
I can always manipulate the abyssal pressure into surrounding and suffocating something or someone.
So there’s that.
With that thought in mind, I swim around the ocean a bit until I find some monsters. And before they can run away, I reach out my abyssal water towards them before surrounding the monsters.
Then I crush the monsters with ease.
Well, until I can manipulate it with enough speed, I can just keep doing it like this.
Still, I’m just glad I managed to get a Domain skill. Because now I’ll be able to use all of my power even outside of the water.
Or, rather, I will be able to after I get my Magical Strength stat high enough.
And to make it even better, the Domain I will be able to create will be at the pressure of the Abyss. Which is enough to crush a person in an instant if they’re not in the System.
Actually, even people in the System would probably be crushed in an instant.
I believe the surface layers of the Abyss – which Pressure of the Abyss and probably the Domain at its weakest will make – can crush humans all the way up to level five hundred in an instant regardless of what equipment they’re using. After that, they can survive with equipment at the very least.
That’s only at the surface layer though. The middle layers of the Abyss can supposedly crush people up to level five thousand.
And the deeper layers of the Abyss can crush people even at level fifteen to twenty thousand.
In an instant.
This only applies to humans and non-aquatic monsters though.
Aquatic monsters are fine. They’re just built differently.
I continue trying to train my control of the abyssal water for a few hours before beginning to make my way back to the Hunter’s City nearby. Now that I’ve reached my goal.
Then it’s time for a nap, followed by more work.
