Everything turned black and then everything turned white. Russel tries to touch his head to feel what's wrong cause it hurts so much but he feels nothing.

  "Huh? Nothing" Russel wonders. He looks down and doesn't see his own body.

  He starts to panic as he hear an omniscient voice all around him. "Relax Russel you are in the mind space, nothing bad can happen to you in here." This startles Russel.

  "Huh?! Who are you? Where am I? What happend to my Trigger?" Russel asks in a panicked voice.

  The female omniscient voice replies with a slight chuckle: "So many questions, I like your enthusiasm Russel. It will all come with time, the most important thing is that you are special Russel."

  "Special? How? What do you mean?" Russel starts firing question after question as the voice patiently waits until he is done asking.

  "Like I said it will all come with time. You have been given the body Trigger. Humanity does not appreciate this but among the Trigors this is the highest blessing one can achieve." If Russels face was visible right now he would frown with skepticism. This sounds like his grandma telling him he is handsome.

  The voice continues: "We don't have a lot of time together now, but fret not we will in the future. For now make sure to follow the path of your Trigger." The voice pauses for a moment. "It's a hard path but it is one that can lead you to the answer" His mind starts racing as it is deducing what the voice is talking about.

  Then suddenly Russel sees his body in the space. It's weird to see your own body from a third person perspective, he wants to say something but before he can the voice talks again. "Don't talk, just observe".

  As he just looks at his body his view changes and observes different things. Stuff he never even notices before. He knows the basics about his body just like everyone. He weighs 64kgs, has a height of 178cm, black messy hair and light blue eyes. As he gains these flashes all over and in his body he understands everything even more. The way his muscles work in cohesion, which nerve triggers which muscles work where and the most optimal way to do that.

  Then he sees his body change, first he sees his skin change. It gets totally removed and replaced in one go?! Then he sees his muscles and bones being replaced as well. This really freaks Russel out, he can handle his fair share of blood but this is just too much. If he was here in person he definitely would have puked. Even his eyes get replaced!

  "This is just a visualisation of what has already happend to your body, you will understand these changes now better and will be able to use them better." The voice speaks again.

  Russel is still mind blown, but managed to get himself together. "Who.. who are you?" he asks.

  "That is not important, you can call me..." The voice seems to hesitate. "Blue. You can call me Blue".

  "Okay, thank you Blue" Russel replies in a polite and now more calm voice. Although his mind has yet to calm down and is still in turmoil.

  "To help you process and understand it better I have embedded something in your head. A visualisation you may call it." The voice continues. "If you think about my name it will appear."

  Before Russel can ask another question he sees something else happening to his body. A bunch of red marks start appearing! He sees one currently at his neck which is very red. It's also glowing a little bit. He also sees one on his left bicep. However this one is very light red. He is wondering what this means but before he can finish his thought he hears the voice one last time.

  "Goodluck".

  "Wait! I have more I want -"

  "Ugh, my whole body hurts" Russel wakes up in a very soft bed with his arms brain and whole body hooked up with a bunch of electrodes. "What was that dream?" He wonders.

  Then reality hits him. He did not get a Trigger. His brother told him about this. It happend to one of his classmate. The classmate still persisted but got kicked out due to incompetency of even using the basic Trigger shield ability!!

  His heart starts to beat faster and he feels like he is having trouble breathing again. What will everyone think of him?! They probably will not even let him try to become a fully fledged Initiate Officer.

  "Do not worry about others and focus on your own power" Russel remembers the words his dad spoke to him. It calms Russel and he manages to get his shit together.

  He starts to observe his surroundings then. It looks like a regular bed besides the high tech observation equipment all around him. This confuses Russel a bit since he knows that the hospital has high tech beds and uses only these types of beds in case of a long term stay...

  Then Doctor Pfeifen walks in. "You're awake!" he exclaims. Russel sees the Doctor walk over to the holographic tablet and type in stuff and view some tables and charts. "It has certainly been a moment since I was here. Truly a blessed coincidence." He murmurs under his breath. But Russel hears what he is saying.

  With a horrified expression, Russel asks: "How long has it been". This is the gnawing feeling Russel has been having since he woke up.

  The Doctor pauses for a moment and stops what he was doing. He grabs a chair as he takes a seat in front of Russel. Who looks at him with desperate eyes. Russel really hopes he didn't miss anything.

  "It has been 5 months".

  The words hit him like a truck. Russel is left speechless for a moment. "What about my family? Do they know what happend? They must be worried sick!!".

  "Relax boy, to not worry them we just told them you successfully enrolled. We did not expect this to happen so we just kept monitoring you in the hopes you woke up." the Doctor tells him.

  "Five months went by in what felt like a few minutes, it seems I really underwent some changes." as Russel feels and hears everything very vividly compared to before. It's almost like someone removes a blindfold with two holes in it and removes some earplugs which have been very stuck.

  "Your vitals are all good and your body is incredibly strong compared to what it should be for a non Trigger Initiate." the Doctor tells him. This brings him back to the grim reality. He has no physical Trigger..

  Then he recalls this 'dream' he just had. What if it was not a dream? In his mind he starts thinking about the voice and the name connected with it "Blue" he whispers. As all of the sudden a holographic screen appears. It looks just like the screen the IGA uses Russel notices. He then proceeds to read what it says.
