“ Thank you, Anas. How is the duty going on?” I asked the stern looking man.
“ It is going well. The wave is estimated to happen in a couple of days so everyone is on edge. Are you going somewhere, sir?”
“ Yes, I had some work and research to conduct in the forest of Wangji so I might have to leave this zone for some time. May you be well.”
At this Tuz scored at me like I had made a very big mistake in revealing where we were going and he started looking at me like he wanted to ensnare me and kill me for this stupidity. I did not mind it that much because Anas was just a young lad and was practically harmless. He could not think about betraying and also once we entered the city,we were going to need some supplies for the trip so we had to be explicit about where we were headed.
“ OK, sir. You are approved for entering. You can enter.”
Anas signaled to the gate keepers and a section of the gate was opened revealing a road that was meant for us to pass through. I kick started the jeep and soon we were inside the city 233. It was not a very high performance city but it had enough working capital to be included in the best tourist attraction of the collapsed world so there were many foreigners and tourists living here and there in the city 233. It had a large number of private lounges and hotels for the people that came in droves each year and not so well maintained houses for the newcomers of the collapsed world. The newcomers from the time space vortexes could appear anywhere and anytime so it was really a handy thing that they were maintained. Therefore, the work regarding the newcomers was a sloppy heck of work and it was the situation in every part of the collapsed world making it an accursed place for the people that were brought here by time space vortex. There was no way to know where and when the time space vortex may open but their main areas never changed so they always spewed out people in areas where they previously had spewed people in the collapsed world. This was a phenomenon that was not much understood by anyone but the many sectors claimed it to be the work of their deities and it always started a fight whenever it was mentioned like this and it was a fight that I hated to be a part of.
“ Let’s go.” I asked Amir to speed up the dial so we may enter.
He did so by pedaling the gas pedal and we entered the city without as much as a hiccup. The city was walled twice and the people were divided into two main groups, the outer ones and the inner ones. The inner ones were separated from the outer ones by not just a wall but by every way one could differentiate the living condition of the people. The cost of living in the inner circle was much higher than in the outer circle and the luxuries of the inner circle were of such a length that it made most of the people try their hardest to get a living quarters in the inner circle which was the safest place of all the city. The outer area was mainly attributed to the newcomers and the safety of the inner circle as the people in the inner circle were rich and containing strong Pinyin or it was the people that belonged to their factions but these people were simply laid back and the supplies we needed were also related to the inner circle except some.

“ Let us separate here.” I talked to Tuz as I had to stock up some things in the outer circle.
“ Wait, why are you separating here? Don’t you have to come back with us to the inner circle?”
Tuz inquired about why I was separating from the crew.
“ I have some spare parts that I want to trade that cannot be bought in the inner circle so just leave me here and we will meet again after some time.”
“ OK. As you wish but do not be late. I will meet in two hours at the inner circle’s beacon gate.”
At this, instead of speaking, I gave my thumbs up and gave Amir a list that contained some of the parts and supplies that were needed for our expedition. He took the list and silently gestured for me to be on my way.
“ I will be there on time. You can leave now.” I talked to Zayn, the butler to take off which he did leaving me alone in the outer circle.
The place that I was looking for was at least ten minutes walk from where I was so I walked toward my destination which happened to be a weapons shop that I frequently visited. When I entered, the shopkeeper Abbas was having a sweet cup of coffee. He looked at me from top to bottom and quickly recognized me. He stood up to welcome me but I was not in such a mood to be entertained so I quickly came to my point about what I needed.
“ Do you have the spare parts of the S-55 and the other items on the list that I asked you about?”
I had called him a couple of days before to make sure that he arranged the parts that I needed for my super hunt of the year. The forest of Wangji from its name was a forest where people even forgets their names if you inhaled the white fog that clustered the entire forest. The whole point of me separating was to get my equipment ready and going to meet the conditions of the hunt that we were going to take.
“ Sir, you have asked for a lot of equipment. It was very difficult to procure all these and……”
Abbas went on about the difficulty in getting all these equipment and all other things. He was just trying to increase the net worth of the junk that I had ordered him to collect for me. I would have increased the margins if he simply asked for it but by using an old fashioned technique was gonna backfire at him as I did not care what the price was as long as the equipment was prepared beforehand. I showed him the card that Anas gave me. Abbas stopped speaking and started to pack up all the things that I had ordered.
