As the undead walked towards the gate Richard walked beside Teach while contemplating what he should do.

  the guard inspirational speech got cut short by a terrifying skeleton appearing together with a child at it’s knees.

  guard: why is a child walking with that thing.

  his thoughts were interrupted when the child covered itself in darkness while pulling out a sword and with inhuman agility and strength started massacre the soldiers.

  wow this is easier than killing goblins, or well I guess it’s because I’m a lot stronger than before. Although using both enhance agility at the same time I cover myself in the darkness element is really hard even with parallel processing. I really wish I could somehow combine them, well my job skills level up pretty good thanks to this so it’s not,,,,, (Teach grabbed the backside of the neck) hey couldn’t you let me fight a little more.

  Richard launched himself against the priest but got blocked by the barrier, afterwards the priest countered with multiple smaller sun beams, and although most were blocked by hell fire some still pierced him, so he jumped away.

  priest: ha! Did you feel that how the light element purified your rotten flesh.

  Richard: first thing first i don’t rot secondly my regeneration and pain resistance makes that attack worthless.

  Priest: then take this.

  the priest launches a barrage of light beams that forces Richard to run around the room to dodge the attacks, some of which hit him but most is being dodged or blocked by his own magic.

  priest: give up already you can’t harm me and sooner or later you will run out of strength.

  Richard doesn’t respond as he is to occupied with avoiding the attacks.

  priest: can’t even speak, have you finally realized how strong i am.

  Richards thoughts: isn’t this going to well for me, i mean seriously all he does is firing off the same attack all over again, and both my HP and MP recovery is keeping, we are also inside so i don’t have to worry about dawn, so why is he so confident in a war of attrition i have the advantage. Although wining like that might make Teach want to give me tougher training so I should try making an effort, let’s see what should I use my sword, no i can’t penetrate his barrier, should I try fear or berserker no fear isn’t really effective against stronger foes and berserker is to dangerous in this situation. So magic, that would be difficult none of my spells can really do much even if i use them. Maybe i should think how darkness is used in anime’s lets see shadow stitching, doesn’t really work in this situation, moving through shadows, already tried that hasn’t worked yet, absorption doesn’t work either, dammit his skill is about the same as mine before my training so why can’t I beat him and i can’t copy his spell since it’s pretty much the opposite of darkness nature,,,, wait wasn’t there an anime of a mage that could learn and cancel any magic he saw.   with his sword enchanted with his black hole spell and the strength boost he succeeded in breaking the barrier and cutting the priest.

  priest: ow! That hurts it hurts.

  Richard: so noisy (he kick the priest into a wall).

  Priest: how did I lose no this isn’t happening.

  Richard: well if i had to guess you have never fought something stronger then yourself, your fighting style was to immature.
