A few moments later — on the school rooftop Riyy climbed up the stairs and stepped onto the rooftop.
Night had already fallen. A cold breeze swept across the open space, and the sky glittered with countless stars — tiny lights shining silently through the darkness.
The rooftop was wide, open, and peaceful. Far away, city lights flickered faintly, but this place felt strangely still.
At the very edge of the rooftop, near the parapet wall, stood Satsuqy. Her long hair fluttered in the cool wind, strands brushing across her face from time to time, and she gently tucked them back behind her ear.
Moonlight softly touched her cheeks — turning them a light shade of red. In her eyes was a strange mix of emotions — somewhere between shyness and quiet joy.
Satsuqy said nothing. She just stood there in silence, eyes glowing faintly, a small smile playing on her lips.
Her skirt and hair swayed with the cold wind, and in that moment, it felt as if the entire night had stopped moving — frozen around her.
The wind kept blowing, stars still shimmered above. Satsuqy stood by the parapet, her hair dancing in the air, her face still blushing softly.
Just then, Riyy began walking toward her — slowly, quietly. She felt nervous inside, though her face didn’t show it.
Stopping a short distance behind Satsuqy, Riyy said softly, her voice trembling just a little:— “Sa... Sa... Satsuqy, do you know what you wanted to tell me?”
Hearing that voice, Satsuqy froze. Her face turned an even deeper shade of red — as if she was about to reveal every feeling she had kept inside for so long.
She slowly turned around. But she couldn’t meet Riyy’s eyes — instead, she looked down and whispered:— “Yeah... I want to tell you.”
Meanwhile, Rayn, Yuqeen, Haarun, Mayya, Sa’ut, and Hinnah had quietly crept up the stairs to the rooftop. They stopped at the top step, silently watching Riyy and Satsuqy from a distance.
Haarun whispered bluntly:— “If Saamyn were here right now, we’d already know what’s going on between those two.”
At that moment, Satsuqy took a slow step closer to Riyy. One of her hands trembled slightly, while the other played nervously with her hair.
Seeing her blushing face, Riyy couldn’t control her own emotions anymore. She had never seen Satsuqy blush before. Turning her head slightly aside, Riyy said gently:— “You can tell me now.”
Satsuqy lowered her head, tapping her foot softly against the ground. Her eyes showed hesitation, her lips quivered:— “I mean... I want to say it, but I don’t know how to start...”
Meanwhile, the group by the stairs was getting restless. Haarun muttered in frustration:— “These two are good at everything — except when it comes to love, they’re slower than turtles!”
Before anyone could reply, a voice came from behind — Ymraan:— “What are you all doing here?”
Everyone turned around. Haarun quickly ran to him and clamped a hand over his mouth:— “Shut up, bro!”
Ymraan pushed his hand away and said with his usual attitude:— “Why should I?”
Rayn pulled him to the side and whispered:— “Look, they’ve been trying to say something to each other for ages, but neither of them has said a word. If someone said something now, it’d all be clear!”
Listening to that, Ymraan smirked and said coldly:— “Then let me add a little spice to their love story.”
And before anyone could stop him, he walked toward them, pretending to talk on the phone. Everyone tried to stop him — but it was too late.
Ymraan stopped a few steps away, near the parapet wall. Riyy and Satsuqy both turned, confused, but Ymraan acted as if he hadn’t noticed them at all.
Still “on the phone,” he said loudly, with a mocking smile:— “I told you to confess your feelings earlier, didn’t I? But you took too long — and now, your bird has flown to someone else!”
Riyy’s eyes widened. It felt as if those words were meant exactly for him. Ymraan hung up the imaginary call, sighed dramatically, then looked at them with a smirk and said:— “What a waste of time.”
Both Riyy and Satsuqy stood there, startled. Ymraan walked closer and asked:—“What are you two doing here?”
Riyy answered sharply:— “What we’re doing is none of your business.”
Ymraan gave a crooked smile:— “Fine by me.”
Then — suddenly — he turned and kicked Riyy from behind! Riyy stumbled forward and fell right onto Satsuqy. Everyone — Rayn, Yuqeen, Haarun, Mayya, Sa’ut, and Hinnah — gasped in shock.
Ymraan, meanwhile, looked up at the stars, started counting them lazily, and walked away as if nothing had happened. Now, Satsuqy lay on the ground — and Riyy was right on top of her.
That moment — on the rooftop.
Seeing Riyy lying on top of her like that, Satsuqy blushed even harder. Riyy’s cheeks turned red too — their faces were so close, their eyes locked together.
The whole place was silent. Except for the sound of the wind, nothing could be heard.
Rayn, Yuqeen, and the others stood frozen — no one said a word. For Satsuqy and Riyy, it felt like their minds had stopped working. Time itself seemed to stand still around them.
Meanwhile, Ymraan wore a calm, expressionless face. Without saying a single word, he turned and began walking down the stairs in front of everyone. Rayn, Yuqeen, Haarun, Mayya, Sa’ut, and Hinnah just stared at him in shock. Rayn finally asked in disbelief:— “Why did you even do that?”
Ymraan didn’t answer. He ignored everyone completely and continued walking down the stairs in silence. Haarun, still stunned, looked back at Riyy and Satsuqy, thinking to himself:— “Something like this... once happened to me too...”
Just then, Riyy suddenly snapped back to reality. Realizing the situation, she quickly got up and stammered nervously:— “S-sorry! I didn’t mean for this to happen... I swear, I’m really sorry!”
Satsuqy slowly sat up. Her voice was soft, filled with shy warmth:— “It’s okay... you don’t have to apologize. It wasn’t your fault.”
Riyy stared at her in surprise, while Satsuqy kept her head down — her cheeks still flushed red, her hair fluttering in the breeze, and above them, the stars shimmered brightly — as if the whole sky was watching just the two of them.
A few moments later — on the rooftop. Inside, Riyy was full of regret, her nerves on edge. With a shaky voice, she hurriedly said:— “I think… we should go now.”
Hearing that, Satsuqy didn’t respond. Riyy’s expression dimmed, and she quietly turned around to leave. As she walked away, she thought to herself:— “I don’t know what Satsuqy wanted to tell me… but—”
Before she could finish that thought, Satsuqy suddenly grabbed her hand tightly. Startled, Riyy turned around. There was clear sadness on Satsuqy’s face. Her voice trembled as she suddenly blurted out:— “Please, Riyy, don’t go… I — I want to tell you what’s in my heart.”
Riyy froze. She just stood there silently, looking deeply into Satsuqy’s eyes. From behind, Sa’ut whispered:— “Now the real part begins.”
The others watched intently, not daring to make a sound. Satsuqy took a deep breath to calm herself, then began speaking softly, her voice trembling slightly:— “Riyy, ever since you came here, you’ve always been so confident… so I thought maybe you liked confident girls.”
She paused for a moment, then continued:— “That’s why I always tried to look confident in front of you. Even when I was scared or nervous inside, I never showed it on my face.”
Then she gripped Riyy’s hand even tighter, her voice shy and blushing:— “Whenever you talked to me casually, I used to blush.
And whenever you talk to another girl… I felt jealous. But I never showed that either.”
Satsuqy fell silent for a few seconds. Riyy stood there, quietly watching her — saying nothing, just listening. Rayn, Haarun, and Sa’ut could hear everything, but the other three girls couldn’t hear a word — they just watched from afar.
Then, Satsuqy took another deep breath and spoke again, softly:— “Riyy, from the very first day you came to this school… I liked you. But I never had the courage to tell you.”
Finally, she looked up, her eyes glistening with tears, her voice trembling:— “So I’m saying it now… I love you, Riyy. I love you so much.”
The moment those words left her mouth, Riyy pulled her into a tight embrace. With a soft, gentle voice, she said:— “It took you this long just to say that, my confident fool? I love you too.”
Satsuqy closed her eyes and hugged her even tighter. Tears streamed down her cheeks — as if every hidden feeling she had kept inside for so long was finally being set free.

Meanwhile, the others sat silently. Rayn, Haarun, and Sa’ut watched quietly, while the other three girls still had no idea what had happened. Then Rayn whispered:— “We should go now. Let them have their moment.”
Haarun nodded in agreement:— “Yeah, you’re right… and honestly, this scene just got a little too emotional.”
So the three of them — Rayn, Haarun, and Sa’ut — quietly started walking down the stairs. Yuqeen, Mayya, and Hinnah looked at each other in confusion.
Mayya asked curiously:— “Why are you guys leaving like that? Will someone please tell us what just happened up there?”
Sa’ut replied calmly:— “Come on, we’ll tell you everything downstairs.”
Then, one by one, they all left the rooftop. And there — under the open sky — Riyy and Satsuqy still held each other tightly, surrounded by nothing but the sound of the cool night breeze, and above them, countless stars shimmered softly — as if the entire sky itself was silently blessing their love.
A few hours later... There wasn’t a single cloud in the sky, so the stars glittered brightly across the night.
All around the city, colorful lights spread through the streets. The sound of people, the laughter of children running around in the joy of spring
all of it made the city feel alive. Amid that lively chaos, we see Haarun and Mayya walking out of a huge shopping mall, heading toward Mayya’s apartment.
For a while, they walked in silence.
Then suddenly, Mayya asked in her usual straightforward tone:— “Haarun, what exactly happened today on the school rooftop between the President and Satsuqy? I couldn’t understand anything. Can you tell me now?”
Haarun smiled faintly and replied in a calm voice:— “Well… maybe you don’t know this, but Riyy and Aokam weren’t in any relationship before. Today, they finally confessed their feelings to each other.”
Mayya’s eyes widened in surprise:— “What! Are you serious? And how do you even know all that?”
Haarun chuckled softly and said:— “Yeah, I’m serious. And actually, Riyy himself told us everything.”
Mayya thought for a moment, then asked curiously:— “Oh… I see. But how did you guys figure out what they were saying to each other?”
Haarun froze for a second. He thought to himself:— “Uh oh, she noticed that...”
Trying to play it cool, he smiled lightly and replied:— “We were just guessing, that’s all… And besides, I’ve got slightly better hearing than the others.”
Mayya said casually:— “Ah, I see.”
Haarun let out a quiet sigh and thought:— “That was close! I didn’t expect Mayya to notice so many details…”
Then, out of nowhere, Mayya gently took Haarun’s hand. He looked at her in surprise — her eyes were soft, warm, and glowing under the dim streetlight. With a sweet smile, she said softly:— “You know, it’s rare to see you this calm.”
Haarun didn’t say anything, just smiled quietly in response. After walking for a while, they left the crowded streets behind and reached a quiet, empty road. No people, no noise — just tall walls on both sides and a few lampposts standing at a distance, their light steady and still.
As they walked, both of them suddenly stopped. Because a few meters ahead stood five rough-looking guys, staring directly at them. Mayya whispered to Haarun:— “Let’s go the other way.”
Following her words, they turned down a side street. But soon, two of those guys appeared in front of them, blocking the path. They tried another way, but again — two more stepped out and stopped them.
Haarun was about to say something, but Mayya quickly squeezed his hand and whispered:— “Don’t talk to them. It’s useless. Let’s just take another way.”
Haarun shot a sharp glare at the boys, then silently turned away to take another route. But after walking only a little farther, they realized — the same group had blocked the road again. This time, Haarun lost his patience. He stepped forward, anger flashing in his eyes, and said in a firm voice:— “What do you guys want? Why do you keep blocking our way?”
One of the boys stepped forward a little — judging by his look, he was the leader of the group. The leader gave a faint smug smile and said directly:— “Seeing your school uniforms, you look like Lumynara High students. That means you’re royal. So you must have lots of money.”
Haarun stiffened and, with an attitude in his voice, replied:— “I don’t have money right now, but I do have an empty bag. If you want, you can take that and go.”
The leader laughed at Haarun’s words, then sneered:— “No money? Fine—do one thing: leave this girl here and go straight back with the cash.”
Hearing that, rage flashed across Haarun’s face; a hard look appeared in his features. Mayya hid behind Haarun in fear and, her voice trembling, gestured:— “Let’s get out of here.”
At Mayya’s words, Haarun said in a cold voice:— “Mayya, step back a little.”
Mayya immediately stepped back a little and, surprised, saw that Haarun was truly serious — very few people had seen that level of seriousness from him. As Mayya moved back, Haarun took up a fighting stance, ready. The leader mocked again and said:— “Alright, you’ll fight. I’ll beat you first, then take the girl.”
No sooner had he finished speaking than a sharp, attitude-filled voice came from above:— “pick up, bastard — pick up, she’s your father’s property!”
All eyes turned upward—Ymraan was sitting across by the lamppost, watching them with a cold expression. Ymraan jumped down in a single leap.
After landing, he slowly started walking toward the group of boys and said in a cold voice to Haarun:— “Reporter, step aside. I’ll handle them.”
As soon as he said that, Haarun quietly moved aside. Ymraan stopped right in front of the gang. The leader spoke in a deep tone:— “You’re gonna fight us?”
Ymraan lowered his eyes, gave a faint smirk, and said in a grim voice:— “If you talk to me, you’ll run out of breath. If you touch me, you’ll burn to ashes. I’ll hit you so hard that just hearing my name will make your soul tremble.”
Then he took a deep breath and added in a playful tone:— “Anyway, enough with the nonsense. Come on — try hitting me first.”
Hearing that, Haarun and Mayya, standing behind him, exchanged a look with awkward, half-fake smiles — both completely stunned. The leader thought to himself:— “There’s no fear in this guy’s eyes… for some reason, I feel like staying far away from him.”
But before he could think any further, one of his men screamed and charged straight at Ymraan. The leader tried to stop him — but it was already too late. In a blink, Ymraan grabbed the guy and slammed him against the wall so hard that everyone’s breath caught in their throats.
The boy was pinned against the wall, blood dripping from several parts of his body. Seeing that, Mayya quickly closed her eyes, and Haarun stood frozen, staring silently at Ymraan.
With a terrifying grin curling on his lips, Ymraan leapt toward the leader, grabbed two of the boys at once, and slammed them onto the road. Then he turned, kicked another one straight into a lamppost at the far end of the street.
Now only the leader was left standing. Watching Ymraan’s brutal attack, his legs started trembling in fear.
Even after knocking out four of them, Ymraan stood perfectly still. Haarun looked at him in awe, thinking:— “Ymraan’s fighting looks like that of a normal fighter, but his reflexes… they’re on a completely different level.”
After a few seconds of silence, Ymraan’s sharp eyes locked onto the leader. That chilling gaze alone made the leader’s body freeze.
Before he could say a word, Ymraan stepped forward and punched him hard in the stomach — The leader immediately lost consciousness and collapsed on the ground.
After defeating everyone, Ymraan slowly walked toward Haarun and Mayya. Standing in front of them, he gave a faint smile and said in a playful tone:— “Hey, little girl, you can open your eyes now.”
Mayya slowly opened her eyes and saw everyone lying unconscious on the ground — and in the middle of it all stood Ymraan, his face calm and composed. In a quiet voice, Ymraan said:— “Alright, I’ll walk you both back to your apartment.”
Neither Mayya nor Haarun could find any words to respond, so they simply nodded in agreement. Soon the three of them started walking —Ymraan in front, with Mayya and Haarun following behind. As they walked, Haarun asked in a straightforward tone:— “Ymraan, what were you doing here?”
Ymraan stayed silent for a moment before replying in his usual calm voice:— “Nothing, just came out to get some fresh night air.”
Within a short while, they reached Mayya’s apartment. Ymraan stopped and said softly:— “Alright then, I’ll head out now.”
Before he could turn away, Mayya spoke up gently:— “Sarqaan… don’t leave yet. Come inside my apartment and have something to eat.”
Hearing that, Ymraan smiled faintly, his tone teasing:— “Heh… sure, why not?”
He said that and casually walked inside first, leaving Haarun and Mayya behind — both looking at each other with a mix of surprise and a faint smile.
As they entered Mayya’s apartment, a soft fragrance filled the air — a blend of lavender and coffee, making the whole room feel calm and cozy.
The walls were light blue, a small bookshelf stood by the side, and the city lights from the window made the space glow even brighter.
Haarun took off his shoes and stepped in, but Ymraan asked bluntly:— “Can I walk in with my shoes on? Don’t worry, they’re dirt-proof.”
Mayya thought for a second and said softly:— “Alright, it’s fine.”
Ymraan looked around and said with a faint smile:— “Nice place. Clean and tidy.”
Mayya smiled slightly and replied:— “Thanks. Now sit down for a while — I’ll cook something.”
Saying that, she walked into the kitchen. Ymraan leaned back on the sofa, and Haarun sat beside him. For a few moments, silence filled the room. Then Ymraan spoke quietly:— “You absorb pretty well.”
Hearing that, Haarun froze inside. He thought:— “Wait… what does he mean by that? Does he know I was absorbing Myraan energy during his fight?”
After a moment’s pause, Haarun asked carefully:— “What are you talking about?”
Ymraan gave a small smile and replied:— “Exactly what you’re thinking. Remember this — I follow Saamyn in every possible way.”
Haarun’s chest tightened with unease. He thought:— “Why does this guy’s presence feel so intimidating? And how could he notice that so easily — even though I’m an A-rank…”
Looking into Ymraan’s calm, sharp eyes, Haarun felt a chill run through his body. The glow of the city lights through the window made the silence in the room even heavier. A few minutes later, Mayya came out of the kitchen and said softly:— “Come to the table, the food’s ready.”
Ymraan stood up without a word, and Haarun followed behind. Soon, they began eating. While eating, Mayya asked in a calm voice:— “Sarqaan, why did you jump into that fight like that? Do you think you’re some kind of hero?”
Ymraan smirked slightly, his voice carrying a touch of attitude:— “I don’t think I’m a hero… because I’m actually a villain.”
Mayya stared at him wide-eyed and said bluntly:— “I can’t figure out what kind of person you really are.”
Ymraan chuckled quietly, then replied in a low, sharp tone:— “The really messed-up kind.”
Both Haarun and Mayya sat there for a while with expressionless faces after hearing Ymraan’s words. Then Mayya asked softly:— “Sarqaan, you don’t really talk nicely with anyone, but with Saamyn… you do. Why? Can I know why?”
After hearing her question, Ymraan went completely silent. He didn’t move, didn’t speak — as if his mind had drifted somewhere far away. Mayya got a little nervous, a thought flashing through her head:— “Did I ask too much?”
Then Ymraan finally spoke in a calm tone:— “Saamyn is everything to me — father, mother, elder brother, friend, mentor… everything.”
There was no attitude in his voice, only calmness and deep respect. Seeing him speak so quietly, both Haarun and Mayya fell silent, just listening to him. After a pause, Ymraan continued:— “What I’m saying might sound crazy, but it’s true.
We don’t have parents. So Saamyn fulfills every role — like a real father. If I wake up late in the morning, he scolds me and worries — like a mother. He protects me all the time — like an elder brother. No matter what I do, he stays by my side — like a friend. And he teaches and guides me — just like a master.”
As Ymraan finished speaking, silence filled the room. The glow of the city lights streaming through the window made the quiet feel even deeper.
He let out a long sigh and said again:— “Saamyn is only a year older than me, but for me, he’s my whole family. I’m not afraid to fight anyone — because as long as Saamyn is with me, even if the whole world stands against me, no one can touch me.”
There was a strange light in his eyes then not fear, not anger, but something deeper — pure respect. Haarun noticed it and realized inside, Ymraan only truly respects, fears, and listens to one person — Saamyn. A few minutes later, they finished their meal. Ymraan said plainly:— “Alright, I should get going now.”
Both Haarun and Mayya nodded. But instead of walking toward the door, Ymraan turned and started heading to the balcony. They both looked at him in surprise. Reaching the edge of the balcony, Ymraan looked back and said quietly:— “Bye…”
The moment the word left his lips, he jumped up from the balcony — and vanished into the dark night in the blink of an eye.
Haarun and Mayya, shocked, rushed to the edge of the balcony, looking around — but Ymraan was nowhere to be seen. Only one question kept echoing in their minds:— “Where did he go?”
Meanwhile, at that very moment, Ymraan was standing on the rooftop of Mayya’s apartment. The cold wind brushed through his hair as he looked down, and the entire city lay beneath him — wrapped in an eerie, peaceful silence.
