Hello everyone. IceMelonTea here.
Ohhh, boy. Am I glad to be back. It has been a debilitating period in more ways than one.
The past month and more, I’ve been forced off-grid. No work, no Royal Road, no writing. Nothing for over thirty days as a serious bout of health issues sidelined me, knocking me out for the count. For a long, arduous stretch, I was barely able to move, eat, or drink.
The grim upside? I’ve found the fastest way to drop weight—10kg gone in my first two weeks of sickness. But then again, I would never recommend it to anyone. It’s just a reminder of the toll it took on me. Of how terrible it was. Only in the middle of this week did I finally get back on my feet, and while I'm moving abit better now, the recovery is slow and the brain fog is only just starting to lift.
However, when it rains, it pours.

Right as I was ready to crawl back to the writing, my only functional laptop finally gave up. (I am going to miss you, bud. You’ve served me well for the past 13 years.) Because of that, I’ve lost the most recent, polished versions of my work. While I have backups online, they are older 'skeletons' that need a lot of meat put back on the bones before they are fit for you to read. Coupled with my current condition, it will take a little time to get it right.
The Plan Ahead:
I am taking the next three weeks to rebuild the backlog. I refuse to give you unpolished work born of exhaustion and rush; I want to give you a story worth your time and the quality that matches it.
Return Date: New chapters will resume on Friday, 27th March.
Frequency: Scheduled for 3 times a week—Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. (Subject to change should circumstances shift).
Shoutouts and Reviews: To the authors I owed shoutouts to in February: I haven't forgotten the debt. I will be making good on those promises in the coming weeks.
Thanks for sticking around during my unintentional hiatus. I love you all and please, take care of your health.
With warmest regards,
IceMelonTea
