Simple Moments

  Zohar

Lemon had gathered books and piled them around her bed. She’d dragged Zohar and placed him to be sitting against the wall of the bed asked him four topics and waited for his answer. When Zohar did answer she picked up two book. One she gave to Zohar and the other she held as she sat between Zohar’s legs fighting the dress to do so.

And they read books of similar topics. Zohar realized after a few pages that they’d probably talk through what they’d read. It sent waves of excitement through him. As much excitement as seeing her wearing the fabrics he chosen. He traced along the detailing every so often in the midst of reading. But his fingers always found their way back to her hair. The hair that had caught his attention so surely.

Zohar looked away from his book and looked down Lemon. He’d been scared again. Had watched her glow again. Had the desire to hoard her away to not let anyone harm her. The fabrics had helped. More so this. Safe tucked away Lemon in his arms them both reading things that they would share with one another. Again his eyes trailed overed her and his hand continued running lightly over the cloth.

Zohar wondered if she’d join him in bed tonight.

He hadn’t asked her to since the first time. He couldn’t in the least claim he hadn’t thought about it. But there was so much to fret on so much to worry over. Zohar was no less worried but they were tucked safely in her space and he felt calmer then he had since she said she wanted to keep the shop open.

The tale has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.

Her brilliant green gaze turned on him causing thundering in his chest. Lemon didn’t change them when they were alone anymore, she still did in the shop though. Zohar hadn’t understood before she’d taken his energy. The shiftiness that interested him was all to make sure no one saw what she was, she was simply making a fashion choice or here an expected hiding of identity.

Lemon was very capable. Lemon was very beautiful. Zohar really did like Lemon.

“You know if you want something you have to say something.” Lemon offered dryly. Zohar tilted his head taking in the words and considering them.

“There are many things I want.” Zohar offered. She smirked and her eyes did that small roll thing that proved she was comfortable with him. When she snapped, when she was a bit rude Zohar enjoyed it because he knew now that the fluttery smiling thing she sometimes did was to hide as well. Zohar didn’t want Lemon to ever have to hide from him.

Lemon turned so she was straddling him he hands on his shoulders her head tilted her gaze on him her brows raised up.

“Are you sure there isn’t one of those at the forefront of your mind?” She asked him her lips a breath from his. Zohar ran a hand up her back. And he felt sparks and heat run through him.

“I would like to stay with you tonight.” He informed her. Lemon hummed and kissed his cheek, then his ear. “I think that can be arranged.” She breathed into his ear.
