“The Descendants of Loki”

  In the Second Kingdom, the sky cracked open with a thunderous boom. Space itself split apart—and from the rift, a giant panda came flying out, spiraling toward the city below.

  Right behind it burst a Shadowy Monster, moving with unbelievable speed, its roar tearing through the air.

  “ROOOOOAAARRR!”

  The creature lunged.

  KA–CHUMP!

  In one brutal motion, it swallowed the panda whole. The monster smashed straight into a nearby building, reducing it to rubble as screams echoed through the streets.

  Inside the monster’s stomach, the panda calmly folded its hands together. A bright yellow glow erupted from its palms.

  BOOOOM!

  The monster’s stomach burst open. The panda blasted free and landed firmly on the ground, while the Shadowy Monster was sent flying—crashing nearly one kilometer away.

  Panic spread instantly. Civilians ran in every direction, terrified by the two magical beasts that had fallen from the sky.

  “Help!! Daddy!!” a little girl screamed.

  She was trapped beneath debris from the destroyed building. Her father lay beside her, crushed by a car—barely alive.

  The panda stared at the scene… then turned and saw more bodies. Injured. Dead.

  Its eyes hardened.

  “Shion woo!!!” the panda shouted.

  An orange aura burst outward, washing over the area. In an instant, every remaining civilian vanished—teleported to safety.

  Shion woo — “Enough” in Beast Language.

  In the distance, the Shadowy Monster rose to its feet. Its form twisted, reshaping itself into a humanoid figure. In its right hand, a sword formed, forged entirely from living shadow.

  The portal in the sky snapped shut.

  The monster pointed to where it had come from… then slowly turned its attention to the panda. A mouth opened across its face, dark smoke pouring out as it spoke.

  “WHERE IS YOUR SO-CALLED LORD SHAPE-SHIFTER?!”

  Its voice sounded like a thousand voices speaking at once.

  The panda’s eyes glowed brighter.

  “So… you can speak the Homo Sapien language,” it replied calmly.

  “I WON’T ASK AGAIN!” the monster roared, its eyes blazing blue.

  The panda smiled.

  “You want the Young Lord?” it said.

  “Then you’ll have to kill me first.”

  The ground trembled.

  “RAKAA TOSHI — BEAST OF NIGHTMARES.”

  With a deafening WHOOSH, the panda and the monster charged at each other at unimaginable speed.

  SAVIOUR HQ

  Kuowon rushed down the corridor toward Kimichi’s chamber—but suddenly, a girl sprinted toward him.

  “KUOWON!”

  He stopped. “Rika—whoa! What’s wrong?”

  “We’ve detected two Magical Beasts across all the Kingdoms!” she said, gasping.

  “It looks like they’re fighting, but their location keeps changing—like they’re teleporting!”

  Kuowon’s eyes widened. “What?”

  “We don’t have any active Saviour Agents left after the Kimichi incident—”

  “Relax,” Kuowon cut in with a grin. “I’ve got this.”

  “With what forces?” Rika asked.

  “You,” he said calmly, “have me…

  and a very powerful magician.”

  “What…?”

  “Rika,” Kuowon said, leaning in, “here’s what you’re going to do…”

  Moments Later

  BANG!

  Kuowon slammed open Kimichi’s door.

  “KIMICHI!!”

  “WOAH—can’t you knock?!” Kimichi yelled.

  “No time,” Kuowon said. “We’re going on an adventure.”

  He snapped his fingers.

  The chains around Kimichi vanished instantly.

  “W–Wait… what?” Kimichi stammered.

  Before he could react, Kuowon grabbed him by the waist. A portal ripped open in the wall—and Kuowon threw Kimichi straight into it.

  “You said we should give him a chance, Corera,” Kuowon muttered.

  “This is his chance to prove himself to the King.”

  Kuowon stepped through the portal as it sealed shut behind them.

  Fourth Kingdom – The Sky

  High above the battlefield, the panda and the Shadowy Monster clashed violently.

  Suddenly—

  A PORTAL OPENED.

  “AAAAAAAHHHH!!”

  Kimichi came flying out, screaming as he plummeted toward the ground.

  The instant he appeared, an immense aura exploded from his body, shaking the entire Kingdom.

  The Shadowy Monster froze.

  Something dangerous had arrived.

  The panda felt it too.

  “The Young Lord…” it whispered, staring up at Kimichi.

  Kuowon followed through the portal, grinning like a madman.

  “HERE WE GO, KIMICHI!!”

  Kimichi turned mid-fall, eyes wide with panic.

  “YOU’RE INSANE!!!”

  They continued falling—20 kilometers above the surface.

  Kimichi’s Thoughts

  This is happening again…

  The last time I fell like this was two weeks ago.

  That was when I learned the truth.
