Wild purple hair in two terrible ties. A uniform that looked like it was run over at least twice. Eyes as purple as her hair. She knelt more then sat in her seat. Her notebook was a bit torn and had something written on it that she was actively drawing over.
He head popped up and met Elytra’s gaze.
“Hiya! I’m Akitsu!” She beamed with a sharp radiant joy.
Before her mind could fully tie the name to the warning in her mind a giggle filled the air.
“Ew. Don’t. Ek.” A girl with braided blonde hair smirked out.
Akitsu bounced as if she were ignoring them but Elytra could see her strong magic fluctuate.
“My name is Akitsu.” She repeated very slowly. “It’s so silly you don’t know that yet.” She giggled, mimicking turning back to her drawing as if already accepting that Elytra would move along.
The warning of Akitsu was born from the hoarding of magical bloodlines. Of incessant mind breaking pressures and a lack of teaching and control. Unaware of her own power. Akitsu would lose control after her heart was broken too many times. And would cause a damage that would convince herself that she deserved everything bad that ever came to her.

The more she became sure of it.
The easier it was to break her mind and cause her magic to explode.
And people would take advantage.
Elytra did not need another mind to worry about.
She really didn’t.
Yet she couldn’t help but sit next to Akitsu and passed her some of the stickers that came with her supplies.
Akitsu looked at the offering and then at her. A smile slowly popped across her face.
“Friends?” Akitsu shoved out the pinky on the farthest hand rather then the closest one tying herself basically into a knot.
Friends Forever:
When Elytra left the school arm in arm with Akitsu she braced for what ever reaction Zephyr might have.
Zephyr dropped out of a tree in his monstrously fast speed. Elytra glanced at Akitsu worried about how she would react to Zephyr.
Both eyed each other. Akitsu let go of Elytra and ran forward.
Zephyr braced for an attack but Akitsu threw her arms around him.
“Hi, I’m Akitsu. Elytra and I are best friends and we should be best friends too. The bestest best friends! Okay?” Akitsu babbled eyes as bright as the sun.
Zephyr stood looking confused then looked to Elytra.
“She’s my friend.” Elytra stated in a way that she hoped he understood that she expected Akitsu to be safe around them but she wasn’t going to define his own friendships.
Zephyr blinked and looked down at Akitsu.
“Your eyes are very pretty.” Akitsu informed him.
Zephyr paused.
“Friends.” He stated with that almost predatory interest that Elytra would have to keep an eye on.
Zephyr’s Friendship:
Within a week no one dared try anything against Akitsu. Because in a silent gust of wind, they’d find double done to them.
