  The Emerald Wood [High fantasy, action, adventure, female lead, magic, Local Protagonist, slice-of-life elements, survival.]

  The Emerald Wood is sick. The animals have all gone, the trees are dying, and no one can figure out why. Not even Ailen, a local ranger who’s lived in the forest since she was young. For the people of Rik, a village nearby who survive off of what the Emerald Wood provides, this could mean disaster. To find the cause they ask for help from a group of adventurers who seek Ailen’s aid to traverse the forest. Yet finding what’s made the Woods sick is not a simple task, especially when magic and something far more sinister waits for them.
