“So, you just talked about his career for hours?” said Cas, Jack sipped his milk at the lunch table “Yeah it was quite nice” Cas shrugged “It sounds like you have an interesting time” Adam smiled as he slurped his applesauce down “I had no idea that your neighbors was one of the Mitchell siblings, to be honest I thought they were all dead” Jack replied “Oh yes all of his siblings are dead , he is the last one, that's gotta be sad” Cas replied “Oh yeah as much as I hate my brother and my sister sometimes... I would be sad; you got any brothers or sisters, Jack?” Jack shook his head “No brothers or sisters, just me and mom” Adam chuckled “Luky, I have six brothers and sisters” Cas replied “That’s a lot of siblings, must be tough” Adam replied “You have no idea” Jack took a bite from his sub sandwich “So he said I can come anytime I want, I can bring my friends as well” Cassidy replied “Who would want to go to an old guys house to hang out?” Jack replied, “Well, he’s got a big house, a room with all his awards, lots of old stuff, and he also has an old car.” Cas perked up at this. “What kind of car?” Jack thought for a second, “I think he says it's a Chevrolet Bel Air.” Cas replied, “Ok that’s cool. That car is a classic.” Adam raised an eyebrow. “I didn't know you were a gearhead.” Cas smiled, “There are a lot of things you don't know about me.”
It was then that they saw a figure pass by them and make his way to the teacher’s table at the end of the lunchroom. Jack squinted to see who it was at the teacher’s table, and to his amusement, he knew who it was. “Oh, that is Dr. Kesler,” Cas replied. “Who is Dr. Kesler?" She turned her own eyes to the man at the table, who was a middle-aged, balding man with a thick beard; he looked just like many of the other teachers in the school. Adam replied, “He’s the new history teacher who teaches US History 101.” Cas replied, “Oh yeah, that explains it. I have the other history teacher, Mr. Henandez. He’s hot.” Jack replied, “I’m pretty sure he’s only teaching because he had a drunken disorderly.” Cas replied, “Really?” Jack replied, “Yeah, I read about it in the daily news.” Adam replied, “Oh, where did it happen?" “It was the Randy’s Donuts by LAX,” Cas replied. “Oh, I've never been there,” Jack replied, “Oh, really? I went there shortly after I arrived in LA,” Adam replied, “Well, it is near LAX, it's only logical. What else did you do when you first arrived?” Jack thought for a moment and replied, “I think we went to the Hollywood sign, the Griffith Observatory, and Universal.” Cas laughed and snorted a bit with her laugh, “Wow, man, you did all the tourist stuff.” “Well, I had never been in LA before.”

It was the end of the school day, and Jack was making his way down Freshman Hall when he saw the light in his usual history class was still on. Inside, he could see Dr. Kelser grading papers with the door to the room open on his desk. Jack got closer and knocked on the door frame, making an audible noise. Dr. Kelser turned to look at Jack; his glasses were off his face. He then picked up his glasses and put them on before realizing who it was. “Oh, hello there, Mr. McCoy, can I help you?” Jack shrugged “Not really, I’m just waiting for my driver and just saw your door open and thought I would stop by” The Doctor shrugged and said “I don't mind” he pointed to one of the chairs “Pull up a chair I’m just getting to your test now” Jack did as he was told and pulled up a chair and sat down near the desk. It was then that he noticed that Dr. Kesler was writing with a strange-looking pen. He noticed it was metal and had two small, unusual antennas protruding from the side. He had seen that somewhere before, but he just didn't know where.
After a few moments, he thought of where he had seen it before, on an episode of Star Trek, the Original Series, “Is that a Servo pen?” Dr. Kesler looked up from his papers and said, “Yes, yes, it is. I am surprised you recognized it. Are you a Star Trek Fan?” Jack smiled “Oh yeah been a Star Trek fan since I was kid, my dad loved in the original series back in the day during the rerun years, we watched all the Trek sows on VHS tapes, and he watched enterprise as it was coming out, my dad had to work double shifts to afford the cable package to get UPN” Dr. Kesler laughed “Oh yes UPN, there is a reason they are no longer along, that place was a wreak, that’s how I got the pen, my uncle worked for UPN back in the day” Jack replied smiling widely “Cool cool” “Yeah... yeah I saw TNG back when I was in college at UCLA, really blew my mind to see a sci-fi show about that, been a fan ever since” It was then that his attention went back to the test in front of him and he made no pen markings on the paper in front of him he muttered “Impressive, you really know your pre-Columbian US History not many people get that part of history right, you are my highest scorer of the class, it is a good thing I don't use a level curve, because you would totally break it, congratulations you got a hundred percent” He then made a quick mark on the paper and handed it to Jack, on the paper was a 100 next to an A+. Jack smiled, “Thank you, Sir.” Dr. Kesler replied, “You earned it, you are in my honor class for a reason.” Jack smiled, “I think my driver is here.”
