  It was yet another awesome day in autumn, the cool air blew carrying around light brown and orange leaves scattering it around the streets of avalon. The streets were unusually crowded today as many had waited for this very day....., the day the medcom satelite was to be launched.

  "It's all set sir" an engineer confirmed making sure all was well with the Medcare airborne antivirus (MAA).

  "Ok.........., were all set, the MAA's ready to hit the atmosphere..., how's the booster coming up" Jack asked, he was the lead scientist on the MAA project, he planned on curing every single human on the planet with the MAA which contained an antivirus and would be released once in the atmosphere, at that time humanity was being faced with a virus of unknown origin, once infected by the virus each part of the body slowly stops working and soon comes paralysis and a sudden cardiac arrest killing the infected within the period of three months, Jack had a dream to change that.

  "All ready at this end too" Lisa responded, she was the lead engineer charged with the responsibility to build a medium rocket big enough to contain the MAA and release it into the atmosphere without any issues, she was also Jacks fiancee and soon to be wife although they already had a daughter.

  "Clear the Fields, countdown protocol has been initiated" Jack said pushing the button for the countdown initiating the countdown sequence. With this all done Jack walked outside to welcome the press and every single person who came to witness this great moment which could be one of the greatest moments in humanities history. They conference took place in medcoms testing arena which was closest to the airfield so everyone could watch the rocket launch.

  "I'm just happy to be helping as much as I can in our fight against this virus that has dreaded us for an insane four years" Jack responded calmly being joined by his fiancee Lisa who had just returned from the airfield.

  "Also thanks to my support and partner Lisa who without her this wouldn't even be possible" Jack continued giving Lisa a peck on the chin

  "Now without further topics to discuss, I think we should watch the launch" Jack joked turning around to take a look at the airfield where the booster had just reached the last number in the sequence and had gradually started heading for the atmosphere at an alarming speed. Everyone present sat amazed and filled with hope, they wanted to get rid of the virus by all means necessary and watching that booster head for the atmosphere gave them hope but that joy wasn't going to last. Something went wrong the booster exploded before hitting the atmosphere and the MAA got released into the air, this wasn't part of the plan and Jack had no idea what was going to happen next, the raw undiluted MAA partogen fell on everyone within a five hundred meter radius including Jack and Lisa killing them instantly.
