And so concludes the first book in the series of tales about the skeleton’s adventures. It stretched far longer than I’d originally anticipated—but I’m truly glad I was able to finish this chapter of the story exactly as I’d envisioned it in my mind.
Yes, there were mistakes and revisions along the way—but where would we be without them? A vast journey still lies ahead—both for me and for our bony hero. Many thoughts and questions await him, and he’ll be sharing them with you. Even now, I already have rough sketches of what lies ahead.
As you may have noticed, the early chapters resembled diary entries, while the later ones evolved into full-fledged narrative prose—and not always from the skeleton’s perspective! Yet I don’t regret this at all. On the contrary, I’m happy the book turned out so varied and uneven in form. I won’t rewrite it. Perhaps someday in the future I’ll polish a few descriptions or smooth out some rough edges—but otherwise, it will remain exactly as you see it now.

I’d like to express my deepest gratitude to my friend and temporary editor of the chapters. She helped me immensely in the early stages. My humble bow to you—and a thousand years of happiness and health!
And thank you, dear readers—thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your reactions and expectations have been truly rewarding. Thank you all so much!
Look forward to the second book—and (let’s hope) many more to come—chronicling the skeleton’s adventures and misadventures in another world.
Thank you, everyone.
