Hello, fellow Friends of Sinners!

  I got some great feedback on this Lighthouse Point arc that I had to act on. With all the POV splits between Chapters 78 and 84, even I'm wondering what the hell I was smoking. But I can tell you what it probably was—one too many Ghost energy drinks when I was loading everything into Royal Road drafts, and I decided to get way too cute crazy with it, and as a result, absolutely none of this made sense. I wrote the scenes start to finish from each characters' POV and decided to cut them together and it sucked. I really, really apologize if you read through it and got confused. I don't want anyone to feel like I'm wasting their time—and I've definitely learned my lesson going forward. The climax to Volume 1 has all of the primary characters' POVs, and I will adjust those to flow smoothly like I hope I fixed here in Lighthouse Point.

  I made the following adjustments, in case you want to re-read through it, or read it a first time if you dropped it. (Note that I only rewrote a small part, the rest is just organized in a much better way)

  Chapter 78 (CY) — Nothing changed, but this is where the arc starts, so if you want to go back, they arrive at Lighthouse Point after the double line/scene break like 2/3 or 3/4 through the chapter. Cy gets to the Shrine. (Before the line break is the end of the Coralhaven arc)

  Chapter 79 (ENVY) — All of Kat's POV. She arrives after Cy goes through the Shrine (at this point he's probably been in for 1.5–2 hours, but...

  Chapter 80 (CY) — ...Cy actually enters the Shrine here. (I just wanted to get Kat's stuff all together, so there is still one time lapse element here.)

  Chapter 81 (CY) — Cy's final chapter in this arc. I did add "new" lines for Cy at the end of this chapter. It was going to come out at Chapter 85, but it makes more sense to place it at the end of his section.

  Chapter 82 – 84 (JULES)— All of Jules' POV on Lighthouse Point, up to what's been posted on Royal Road so far (Chapter 84, as 85 drops tomorrow).

  I'm a big KU boi because I can't stand the wait and have to read a book all at once (seriously, how do you all do it!?). I think that also played a big (but definitely lesser) part here and is a perspective I'm going to shift for you all moving forward. Even with ongoing manga I have to wait until a major arc is finished and then binge (like Seraph of the End—chef's kiss). Cliffhangers really only affect my reading at the end of books (which is fine because it's a complete story in itself), but when they're in the book I can just turn the page, and I need to think more about the wait in between days of chapters (which you think would be obvious, but alas...)

  Anyway, thanks for listening to me ramble, and most importantly, for reading my series. I am learning and trying to apply all those lessons to make this a better experience for you all!
