"He'll probably ambush us somewhere else," Ryan said. "We o be alert."
James nodded in agreement. "If he strikes now, at least we have backup," he replied, referring to their friends from the Judo Club.
They tio wait, their nerves on edge. As the miicked by, their ay grew. They were starting to think that Alex might have chied out.
Just as they were about to give up, they heard a familiar voice. "Looking for me?"
They turned around to see Alex standing a few feet away, a smirk pying on his lips. Behind him, a group of his gang members loomed menagly.
James and his friends exged ghey had been caught off guard.
"Well, well, well," Alex said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "Look who decided to show up."
James stepped forward, his voice steady. "We're here to talk," he said.
Alex ughed. "Oh, really?" he replied. "I thought you were here to fight."
Before James could respond, Alex raised his hand, signaling his gang to attack. A wave of bodies surged towards them, their fists raised.
As the gang members charged towards them, James stepped forward, his stance wide and stable. He activated his Crab Arms skill, his arms hardening and transf into a formidable barrier. With a single movement, he blocked the punches of two gang members simultaneously, their fists boung off his hardened arms like rubber balls.
Before the attackers could recover, James unched a terattack. With a swift uppercut, he sent one of the gang members flying backward. The other attacker, caught off guard, was left wide open. James followed up with a powerful thundercp sp, the force of which sent the attacker crashing to the ground.
As the third attacker charged towards him, James activated his Sloth Vision, the world around him slowing to a crawl. Time seemed to stretch out, giving him precious seds to analyze the situation and pn his move.
With newfound crity, James dodged the attacker's punch with ease. As the attacker stumbled forward, James grabbed his shoulder with a Bear Grip, his hands tightening around the man's flesh. The attacker cried out in pain, his knees bug beh him. He was forced to kneel on the ground, his strength sapped by James's powerful grip.
The ang members, witnessing their rade's defeat, hesitated. They were clearly intimidated by James's dispy of skill and power.
James seized the opportunity. He turo Ryan and Sourov, who were also engaged in their own battles. "Let's call them," he shouted, his voice filled with determination.
Upon hearing James's call for help, Ryan quickly retreated a few meters and pulled out his phone. He had already drafted a message to his Judo Club friends, alerting them to the situation. With a quick press of the send button, the message was on its way.
Alex, sensing the urgen Ryan's as, frowned. He suspected that Ryan might be calling the teachers. But when Ryahe message, just one mier, a wave of students from the Judo Club burst out of the school gates.
