  Elena grabbed her phone once she heard the notification tune because she had already muted the device and only allowed for the market-exchange app to warn her once a huge fluctuation happens to the price of hers and Bryan's shares which they've pooled together and bought more than 7% of the biggest conglomerate which is currently the only one standing strong in the country, the main reason is the majority-owner being currently the one with the most promising chance of winning the elections... Even when his son is currently undergoing investigation for committing a disgusting yet very stupid crime in one of his dad's private isnds.

  "Oh my god... I'm a billionaire now!" Elena said while looking at the current price of their shares which just went up to more than double when many others decided to buy shares of the many subsidiary branches and the increasing demand boosted the cost vertical angle until it became like a steep mountain-side!

  Bryan hugged her and kissed her cheek before saying : "Congratutions sweetie on making your first billion."

  Elena looked at him and smiled contentedly before hugging him back, while nestling her head on his shoulder she suddenly realized that Bryan must've meant something when he said first which is why Elena pushed him a bit then used both hands to pinch his cheek while saying : "How much more are we going to make before we jump this ship and when are we going to do that? Tell me or... T-tonight you wont get anything at all."

  "I wouldn't dare risk that happening!" Bryan said while faking a panicked expression on his face, "This sharp spike in price would go on for a while until the next candidate for presidency steps up to debate the chair-man then it'd start to fluctuate for a few days following that until the pre-election polling phase, once the confusing times of fake news happen and all sorts of co-called "Experienced Pollsters" start showing their researches, sweeping surveys, and calcuted data to convince the people that some inexperience young woman who only spent less than three-quarters of her administrative-cycle as a governor leading an awfully secludes state which its economy is more than 96% dependent on farm-based production is severely cking when it comes for the position of our president." He whispered these words in Elena's ears while hugging her because he can't risk having anyone hearing that extremely sensitive information and spreading it around, even if they're his or Elena's bodyguards.

  "Another sharp spike would go on until six hours before the final result of the elections is announced to the public, because the ones with reaching hands, eyes, and ears within the higher chain of command would know by then that the battle was lost for that wealthy businessman.

  "Of course we're going to jump ship more than twenty-four hours earlier to avoid attracting suspicion towards ourselves because it's needless to say that by that time we'll be looking elsewhere since... We've got bigger fish to fry." Bryan cupped her cheeks then kissed her puckered lips more than once.

  "How much then? One more billion for me!" Elena asked while blocking his lips with her fingers and smiled once she saw in being annoyed like a kid who got denied from pying with his favorite toy!

  "No," Bryan shook his head, "Definitely more than three-times as much... Probably four-times by the time we withdraw our shares."

  Elena's big eyes widened, "Wow!" But immediately afterwards she squinted them while giving him an inquisitive look, "How do you know all that? You're always certain about these things, it's almost like... You know what's going to happen in the future."

  Bryan smiled mysteriously before leaning to whisper in her ear : "Because I'm actually from the future." Then moved back to enjoy looking at her expression when Elena scowled at him since she obviously doesn't believe him which is why Bryan added : "You're a mathematician through and through deep down, if something beyond reason happens once then it can be because our understanding is cking the right comprehension attributes to understand the reason why or it's just a mere coincidence but, If it keeps happening on regur basis and we're provided enough evidence to form a perfectly functioning and calcuted understanding of why it happens and when... Then it'd unreasonable for us to deny the truth which makes us simply stupid."

  "Humph. Who're you calling stupid?" Elena gred at him.

  "No one! I'm just trying to make up a point to convince you to believe that your man loves you so much that he wouldn't dare lie to you, I promise." Bryan started to sweat once he found Elena maintaining a bit of a distance between them.

  Elena on the other hand was amused by his apparent worry after seeing Bryan a bit touchy after she teased him by acting annoyed and thought while looking at the street : 'So unfair! This fellow keeps making it hard for me to find reasons not to give him what he wants.'

  Finally she looked at him and asked : "So you're telling the truth, all of it?"

  Bryan immediately shook his head which caused Elena to frown a bit, "Not all of it. There's a few things I haven't figured out completely yet but, I'm working on them and once I'm absolutely confident that it'd be safe for me to show the three of you one of my biggest secrets I'll immediately reveal it. You have my word."

  Elena's curiosity was instantly sparked after hearing Bryan mention secrets and really wanted to push for him to do it now however, once she heard his sincere tone of voice and saw hesitation and worry on his expression while sensing the honest look within her eyes penetrating deep into her very soul... Elena pulled a sad face before sighing then let her forehead rest on his chest while saying : "Who else know about this?"

  "Other than you is only Linnet but I pn to tell Celest too, I didn't get a chance to tell her yesterday and now I'm feeling guilty because she might think I'm pying favors between my women." Bryan hugged Elena tightly.

  "How far ahead in the years were you at before making that jump?" Elena whispered.

  Bryan kissed her cheek then circled to the other side before repeating his action, "Just two." He answered while watching Linda coming their way to pick up the empty tableware and repce the used silverware.

  "How was the food Elena? Is my Alex in trouble?" Linda asked in a joking manner while giving this stunning beauty a teasing smile after seeing her blush in embarrassment when Elena tried to sit straight and escape Bryan's embrace but this fellow thickened his skin and kept holding into her waist which forced her to be in this situation.

  Elena once again pinched Bryan's sides with her fingers and twisted as hard as possible while giving Linda a few nods and smiling, "It was so amazingly delicious Linda, your husband is such a talented cook... Kudos to the chef!"

  Linda raised her head proudly as if she's the one being praised and gave Elena a wink, "Yours is more well-rounded, better keep that one on a tight leash in these trying moments because who knows? It's a crazy world and there's treasure hunters out there! An endless amount of them, they're extremely hungry and bloodthirsty with eyes glowing deep red you can seem them all the way around us... Simply watching from the dark." But she was enjoying seeing Elena's timid reactions and the frightened expression which surfaced on her face as she listened to Linda while flinching whenever the wife exaggerated her actions or built suspense by lowering or increasing her tone of voice and stressed certain words.

  Poor Elena was no longer able to stand it and clung to Bryan tightly in her hug as if afraid someone would take him from her if she dared let go!

  Linda smirked and carried the big tray from the table while saying : "I'll bring you two something to drink with your dessert." Then took her leave while humming a tune because now Linda can say that she did something good to repay Bryan for what he did for her and her husband.

  Even if it's small in comparison to what he did by providing the two of them with a big apartment and a huge restaurant after helping them pay their debt, Linda believes that now she and Alex keep working on accumuting more and more of these small gestures to bance some of the appreciation they owe this young, handsome, and extremely lucky man to have not only Linnet but also this beauty in his embrace plus another one she's yet to meet.

  Of course Linda was excited about the upgrade she and Alex received to their lifestyle but, she's even more excited for the opportunity it presents the two of them which is... Finally being ready to work on their first baby!

  Bryan on the other hand waited until Linda left before whispering in Elena's ear and saying : "Humph... I don't want their stupid dessert, I want this one instead." Then leaned to kiss her with extra passion and it felt great to find Elena answering his passion with more affection from her side.

  'Who cares if it's unfair? The damage is already done... I'm going to enjoy every single moment of this!' Elena thought while letting this numb and sweet weakness drag her as she surrendered within his embrace then just allowed these thick and heavy sentiments of desire slowly push her to sink deeper and deeper.
