Chapter 40: Laying the Groundwork.
(Faith’s POV)
Truly, it has been a very, very, very long time since I’ve been on my own. In fact, I feel an odd depression from me not being near or with Celia. Is this… withdraw? How silly…
Anyway… I needed to visit a friend of hers. My pn is bad, like, very bad. So bad that… I will absolutely have powerful beings coming after me, who wish to send me to the most sinful part of Hell.
On that matter, it wouldn’t be any normal Hell, either. It will be the Hell specifically made for Higher Beings. To ensure that no one will fuck with me, as all that is needed to send me to Hell, is to just have a Death God or Goddess stab me with their knife, I have some work to do…
Speaking of which… I find it funny how little Celia uses that knife of hers, which she got from marrying Nia. To her, using it as a weapon somehow insults their retionship, and Celia hasn’t ever had the need to use it, anyway. How cute…
A Few Days Later.
Faith: “…”
Even with my power… why was it still so damn hard to get into Hell? Celia just practically strolled into the pce, but for me, I had to work for it. That woman truly is stupidly lucky. Which is just another thing about her that I deeply adore!
Alenta: “Your proposition is good… but can I really believe your words about it?” She asked, tapping one of her fingers on her desk.
Faith: “As Celia’s friend, don’t you owe her a reward?” I replied with a raised eyebrow.
Alenta: “I do owe her a great deal, yes… But rather than helping her, isn’t this just giving me benefits?” She asked in reply.
Faith: “I need you to be at the top, Alenta. If you are the ruler of all Hells… then I won’t have to worry about being arrested and taken to Hell.” I expined.
The pn was very simple, actually. I was just going to kill the current true ruler of Hell, who controls and oversees all Hells, and give the position to Alenta.
Alenta: “You don’t wish to be condemned? What exactly… is the sin that you pn on committing really that bad?” She asked with a serious tone.
Faith: “It is very, very bad, Alenta. So bad that… Celia will surely hate me for doing this.” I answered.
Alenta: “Don’t you love her, though? For what purpose would you have for doing something like this, if it strains your retionship with her so gravely?” She replied with a curious tone.
Rather than answer her, which would just cause us to go back and forth, I tapped her head. Like Celia is addicted to doing, as she is a decently zy girl about some things, I gave Alenta the needed information.
Faith: “So?” I ask after she muddled through it all.
Alenta: “I wasn’t aware that she was in such dire straits… I knew that her way of life would injure her, but I didn’t expect it to be so bad.” She said with a sad tone.
Faith: “Don’t worry, I’ll make sure that Celia will live for a long time.” I say with a reassuring tone.
Alenta: “I see… Let me think about this for a bit, Faith.” She pleaded.
It won’t take long for her to come to a conclusion, so I decided to stay in Alenta’s office with her. Now then… once she agrees, the first step will soon be in pce. Ah, I am such a good worker!!!
