As I woke up, I felt some muscle pains from the trainierday. It wasn’t terrible, but I definitely felt it. I think I go about the day like normal, but I o hold ba physical exercise for today.

  Knock, Knock

  I hadn't gotten up yet when I heard a knock at the door.

  “e in.” I gave permission.

  The door opened and Jenna stepped in.

  “Good m, Lord Brian. May I ask how you are feeling?” Jenna asked.

  “Not too bad. A little sore.” I answered holy. “Is breakfast about to be served?”

  “Not quite yet. Miss Alice seo che you. She is not feeling so well so she wao know if you were the same.” Jenna told me.

  “I’m fine enough. If you give me a moment to ge I e ahat to Alice myself.” I told Jenna.

  “That sounds fine. I’ll wait outside.” She said as she stepped out of my room.

  I quickly got dressed and did my other m business. Laura also reminded me about the toploader Upstart Goblin I never activated yesterday, so I decided to add activating it into my m routine. I got two gold s and one small and twe silver s from upstart.

  I got out of my room and followed Jenna to Alice’s room. She was still ying in bed and Mana was sitting on the bed o her. Did she call Mana to keep her pany?

  “M Alice.” I greeted her.

  “Good m.” She responded. She didn’t sound bad, but then again, she isn’t sick, just having some muscle pains.

  “Are you feeling alright?” I asked even though I khe answer.

  “No. My body is sore all over.” She told me.

  “I’m sorry. We traioo much yesterday.” I told her.

  “It’s not your fault. I wao do it as well.” Alice argued. “But you’d better not run off today. You’ll practice magic with me for the whole day as an apology.”

  “I’m not sure that is a good idea. I think you should take it easy for the day.”

  “No. ractig magic. I’ll learn that telekinesis thing so I fly.” Alice said.

  “I’m not sure that’s a great idea.” I said to her. “Even I ’t hope to float myself with telekinesis yet. And I have Laura helping me.”

  “Then it’s a race. The winner is the ohat float first.” Alinounced. “And the loser will do whatever the winner demands.”

  … really? That’s not a good idea. Like at all.

  “Alice, I don’t thi…” I began, but Jenna interrupted me.

  “Alice, you ’t make promises like that.” Jenna scolded Alice. “Never ever promise to do ‘whatever’ to a male.”

  … well, I do agree, but that’s a harsh way of putting it. And didn’t you promise to do anything when Alice was in that dark bubble?

  “She is right, you know.” I told Alice. “Even if she is a hypocrite.” I muttered quietly.

  “You wouldn’t do anything bad, would you?” Alice asked.

  “Depends on what you sider bad.” I teased. Probably not the right time for that.

  “Brian.” Jenna turo me. “Are you sidering doing bad things with Miss Alice?”

  “Nope. Definitely not.” I told her.

  “So you are.” Jenna deduced. “You stereotypical male. Get out of the young miss's room.”

  “Sure, but you are the ohat let me in.” I said as I turo leave.

  “Master, you really o learn how to read the room better.” I heard Mana say.

  “Sorry, no do.” I told her before I left the room.

  Holy. What is the worst I would do? Probably use her as a test dummy in a card experiment or something. I should actually cash out that ‘I’ll do anything’ from Jenna. I want to find out if I fuse a monster with a person and I have extra copies of Polymerization to do that with. I also have de-fusion in case it goes wrong. And even Monster Reborn.

  Now that I think about it, it’s a good thing I didn’t open my daily packs yet. I think the safest choice for a fusion would be a humanoid monster with the same attribute as Jenna’s stro attribute. But I have no idea what that even is.

  Alice was carried by Mana to the dining room for breakfast. Brandon made a ent about how his house was turning into a circus with all these magical girls showing up oer another. Don’t look at me. You are the one obsessed with a prophecy about a blond haired female magi, so you should welana stig around.

  After breakfast, I was in the parlor practig the touchless mana loop with Alice. With us doing this every day, I hope I’ll get the mana circution skill before I leave town.

  “Brian, we take a break?” Alice asked after we had kept up the mana loop for about 30 minutes.

  “Sure, is something wrong?” I asked her. I was expeg us to go for at least an hour before she asked for a break.

  “It’s just… my mana is more difficult to move than usual.” She told me.

  “Ok. Let’s just take a break then.” I told her as I cut off the loop.

  “Alice, are you ok?” Jenna came up to her and asked.

  “I’m fine. I just need some rest.” Alice said.

  (Possibly. Her mana might focus on the areas that are growing and that would make moving it more difficult.) Laura said.

  (I didn’t feel any differeh mihough.) I tered.

  “I think Alice’s mana is fog on healing her body from yesterday. That’s why it’s more difficult for her to trol it.” I said to Alid Jenna.

  “I told you you should rest for the day.” Jenna said to Alice after hearing what I said.

  “But it’s b. This is more fun.” Alice argued.

  “Rest is also important.” I reminded her. “Otherwise all the work we put ierday will just go to waste.”

  “But then what we do?” Alice whined.

  “We could open some packs together.” I offered. “I haven’t do today yet. There was also an experiment I wao run with Jenna.”
