  Well, at least I got another ultra rare. Sadly, it’s not the Exodia piece I’m missing, so it’s basically useless to me. Unless I use it to repeone’s lost arm or something. I might be able to do that with the extra Exodia pieces, but I ’t really try before I meet someone missing an arm or a leg.

  I made sure to activate both Upstart and Emblem before heading out of my room. I got three small silvers, e silver and one gold from Upstart.

  She was right about the Baku store part. I o go pick up some preserved food. And this town has cheap meat. Well, at least it is cheaper than in most pces, so it’s better to buy from here. And we do need some for the trip over to Sawyer city.

  On my way to the store, I had Laura clear out some of the extra ons from LoBY for more sleeves. I needed a toploader for three different Blue-Eyes after all. And I might o buy a bnk book so I install Toon World into it. I’m not sure if that is required, but it might be useful.

  30 more sleeves for me. With the 5 left over from yesterday, I now have 35.

  Now to use them. First things first, my Blue-Eyes arsenal.

  Toploader for Toon Blue-Eyes, the LoBY Blue-Eyes and upgrading the sleeved Blue-Eyes I got from Padin.

  (Master, I applied a sleeve and toploader on the new Blue-Eyes White Dragon, as well as Blue-Eyes Toon, but I ot pe on the Blue-Eyes you got from the effect of Padin of White Dragon.) Laura said.

  (You ’t? Why?) I wondered.

  (Most likely because of the sleeve that it got from Padin. It might be treated the same as a ritual or fusion summon that got a sleeve at the time. The sleeves on those monsters ot be upgraded to toploaders either.) Laura said.

  (Well, that sucks. I remove the sleeve from the Blue-Eyes and then pother one on it ter?)

  (I do not know. There may be a way, but I ot do it at the moment.) Laura said.

  “Wele.” An employee at Baku’s store weled me when I walked inside. “Sir Brian, are you here to buy something? Or is your visit because of the escort quest?”

  “Just to buy some non-perishable food.” I answered. “I also have this order from Christina. Could you take care of it?”

  “From Madam Wat? Yes. I shall take care of it right now.” She said as she was about to take off.

  “Oh, before you do, where are the non-perishable foods?” I asked.

  The dy looked torn oher to help me, or deal with the order from Christina, before she said. “Please, let me drop this off to someone else and I’ll help you with the food.” She said.

  “Sure.” I responded.

  She quickly took off towards a ba and I checked out some of the wares they had. I wasn’t really looking for anything, but I might see something I need.

  And it didn’t take me long to notiething. In the campiioo the sleeping bags, there were rolled up animal pelts you could have under your sleeping bag. I did buy both a small tent and a sleeping bag some time ago, but I didn’t notiything like this in that store, so I didn’t buy one. I should probably get it, so I sleep better on the go.

  “Sir Brian. Would you e this way? The non-perishable are this way.” The employee returned and said to me.

  “Yeah. But I’d like one of these.” I said as I poi the sleeping mat. Mat? Perhaps it is more of a sleepi.

  “A travel pelt. Of course. Is there one you prefer?” She asked.

  “The only difference is the colht?” I firmed. Some of them had slightly lighter colored fur and others were darker.

  “No. Of course not. They are from differes. The light ones here are made of boar hide. They are not soft at all, but iurn they are cheap.” She expined. “These ones oher hand are from higher rankis, and they are treated to make them more fortable.”

  I see. So it’s about the softness and things. I should probably get a det grade one.

  “Could you reend one for me? A higher css one preferably.” I said.

  “Of course. This one is made of the pelts from D-rank wolf monsters. It’s not that soft, but it is quite warm.” She expined as she showed me a dark gray one.

  I touched it a bit, but it didn’t feel that great. She noticed I wasn’t ied and showed me another one.

  “This one is made from charging sheep hide. It is a lot softer, but it will go bad if you don’t take care of it.” She expined as she showed me an almost white one.

  I, again, touched it. It felt great to the touch, but if it o be taken care of, I don’t think it is for me. At least not as an on-the-go bed. At that point I should just get one of the beds from the dungeon and shove it in my rge magic backpabsp;

  “Is there anything that is around this softness, but doesn’t require as much maintenance?” I asked.

  “Well, there are, but they be quite expensive. Are you sure you want to spend that much money on something like this?” She asked.

  “Depends on how much money we are talking about.” I answered.

  “Well, the high css ones are five to ten gold s.” She said.

  Five to ten gold? … I guess that would be a lot. But I spare that much for fortable sleep. Sleep is important after all. I also have two different money factories. A dungeon and Upstart Goblin. And I will eventually get more Upstart goblins as well, so I shouldn’t be afraid of spending money.

  “That much is fine. Please show them to me.” I said.

  “Yes. Please wait a moment.” She said as she walked to a ba. Perhaps they keep the expehings away from the eyes of the on people. Or it might just be an anti-theft measure.

  “These two are the best we have.” The employee said as she returned with two differes. One of them was blue in color and the other was bck. “This one is made of water buffalo hide. It’s quite soft and pletely roof, so if it gets dirty, you just ri in a river or wash it with water magic.” She expined as she showed me the blue ohis one oher hand is made of giant mink hide. It has been ented to resist grime, but the entment is not perfect. But being made of giant mink hide, it has a shadowy effe its surroundings, making sleeping on it more peaceful. The effect also keep you safe from beasts that rely on sight alone.” She said.

  So a roof ohat is easy to wash, or ohat resists grime and makes you sleep better. Both are holy super nice. I could probably buy both, but should I? How long will it take them to get more?

  I touched both of them and they both felt really nice. I think the sheep one might be even softer, but that one has other problems.

  “They feel really nice. How much are they?” I asked.

  “The blue one is seven gold and twe silver. The be is nine gold and a rge silver.” She told me the prices.

  So if I get both, that would be 16 gold and 3 rge silvers. That’s just a bit more than what I have in my main ‘wallet’ pouch, so I would have to dig into one of the two I got when I sold my fanny packs.

  “Will this store have a problem if I buy both?” I asked.

  “Most likely not. Not that many ers e looking for travel pelts of this quality.” The employee answered.

  “Then I’ll take them both.” I told her. Might as well spend some money food sleep. And in case Alice or Lua don’t have their own, I let them borrow one of mine.

  “Thank you for your business.” The employee waved me off.

  In total, betweewo pelts and the food I bought, I spent 17 gold s. The total was actually something like 17 gold, rge silver, and two small silvers, but the owner had e in and khe price down to just 17 gold.

  I also got the order by Christina and it turned out to be a notebook and a high quality sleeping bag. They are probably for Alice. Well, at least the sleeping bag should be.

  The order also requested for oher item, but the store didn’t have it in stock, so I got an apology notice to deliver to Christina instead. It also said they could get one from Sawyer city.

  Since shopping had taken some time, I was hungry and decided to get some food from the stalls in the main square. I didn’t default to Sam’s burritos this time, as I wao try some other things as well.

  I picked up some basic meat skewers from a few different stalls. In doing so, I learhere was a below copper in price, called a penny. Five pennies made a copper. I guess that’s something, but I’m not sure how much I’ll use them, so I just bought a full copper worth of food from different stalls, so I wouldn’t be left with any pennies.

  Now with that done, I had one more pce I wao visit. I o give something (or some things) to the master at that pce.
