DESMOND LITTLE, or as he prefers to be called, DEZ. Is a young man from the small town of Eyeville. Dez has never felt at home there, feeling like he’s been missing something his entire life, and he follows along an impulsive plan of his best friend, HOOKS. This Illegal plan leads both of them into dire trouble, which is exacerbated further when they are mixed into a strange conspiracy pertaining to Death Row inmates. As Dez and eleven other prisoners are brought to a new home, their chance at survival turns into peril as the program’s true purpose is revealed, and Dez and Co must struggle to survive a fateful collision with something beyond their understanding.
