Jesse was a middle aged engineer who was mostly content with his life, that is until he was unwillingly pulled through an unstable portal to another world. Thrown into a world full of magic and no small amount of danger, Jesse is forced to adapt. Not possessing magical abilities or superhuman strength himself, Jesse instead must rely on his wits, engineering knowledge, the deadpan voice of his AI in his ear (or brain), and his loyal dog Aegis.
