Part-124
Ryan nodded in agreement. "If it were just scammers, it would be easy," he said, "but this mix of good and bad people is making it hard to find them."
A sudden spark of insight lit up James's eyes. "Hey, I think I found a solution," he excimed.
Ryan leaned forward, intrigued. "What is it?"
"We should look for items that are expe being sold at ridiculously low prices," James expined. "Scammers oftehis tactic to lure unsuspeg buyers. If we identify these listings, we might be able to narrow down our search."
Ryan's eyes widened in uanding. "That's a good point," he agreed. "Let's see if we find any suspicious listings. We should also look for sellers with suspiciously low ratings or few reviews. These could be red fgs."
James nodded. "We should also check the seller's history. If they have a lot of ive reviews or pints, it's a sign that something might be wrong."
James decided to put his theory to the test. He searched for expeems listed at suspiciously low prices. After browsing through several pages, he found a watch listed for a mere 8,000 BDT (approximately 80 USD). Knowing the actual price of such a watch was easily over 90,000 BDT (900 USD), he decided this was worth iigating.
With a sense of anticipation, he pced an order for the watch. Fifteen mier, his ph. It was the seller.
"Hello, I'm ied ich you posted," James said, trying to sound as casual as possible.
The seller's voice, a sharp trast to the previous one, was hurried and impersonal. "Yes, the watch is avaible. I ship it to you tomorrow."
" you tell me more about the watch? Like the brand, model, aures?" James pressed, trying to gather as muformation as possible.
"It's a good watch," the seller replied vaguely. "You'll like it."
"But I want to know more about it before I buy it," James insisted. " you tell me about the pros and s?"
The seller hesitated for a moment, then replied, "It's 100% fine. You won't regret it."
James could sehe seller's impatie was clear they were not ied in providing aails about the product. This was a red fg.
James persisted, "Every sed-hand product has its pros and s. you at least tell me the brand and model?"
The seller became increasingly impatient. "Just buy it or not. I don't have time for this."
James pressed further, "I o know the paymehod. I pay upon delivery?"
The seller's tone hardened. "No, advance payment only. I'll deliver it myself, so there's no delivery charge."
James khis was a cssic scam tactic. They wahe upfront payment and then disappeared without delivering the product. He decided to py along.
"Alright, I'll buy it," James said, trying to sound as casual as possible. "But I'll pay upon delivery after iing the product."
The seller's voice rose in frustration. "I told you, advance payment!"
